Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen

The Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen ( German championship of Flanders ) is a Belgian cycling race .

The race was held for the first time in 1908 and has been held annually in mid-September since then. The first winner was Robert Wancour . The one-day race leads through the municipalities of Koolskamp , Pittem and its district of Egem in the Flemish province of West Flanders . The race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.1.
