The 102nd Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen 2017 was a Belgian road bike race with start and finish in the Flemish Koolskamp after 192 km . It took place on Friday , September 15, 2017 . It was also part of the UCI Europe Tour 2017 and classified there in category 1.1 .

A total of 16 laps of 12 kilometers each had to be done around Koolskamp. The course had no topographical difficulties. For a long time, a seven-man breakaway group led by Belgian road champion Oliver Naesen (AG2R) determined the race. However, the escape group were caught up again on the penultimate lap. So it came to the mass sprint. Fernando Gaviria (Colombia / Quick Step) won the sprint ahead of Dylan Groenewegen (Netherlands / LottoNL).
