Roy Jans (born September 15, 1990 in Bilzen ) is a Belgian racing cyclist .

Career

Roy Jans won the Kattekoers for the Irish team At Post-Sean Kelly . In addition, he was third in the national championship in road racing of the U23. In 2013 he went to Accent Jobs-Wanty . At the beginning of 2014, Jans won a stage of La Tropicale Amissa Bongo and still won the points classification there. He finished second in the Belgian road race championship behind Jens Debusschere . In France, Jans won a stage at the Étoile de Bessèges . Further top ten placements were added in the course of the year. In October 2016 he won the National Sluitingprijs . A few days earlier, he finished second in the 2016 Münsterland Giro, as in the previous year. For the 2017 season, Jans switched to the WB Veranclassic Aqua Protect team and won the French one-day race Grand Prix de la ville de Pérenchies in July of that year .
