Circuit des Ardennes
The Circuit des Ardennes ( French : round trip through the Ardennes ) is a cycling race in northeast France .
The tour leads through the Ardennes department in the French Ardennes . The race was held for the first time in 1930. After that it did not take place for 20 years and was a professional race from 1951 to 1958 and an amateur race from 1959 to 1963 . The next 13 years were again from competition. The tour was then again a race for amateurs from 1977 to 1988. After a further eleven years without a race, it was held from 2000 to 2004 for drivers in the Elite 2 category . Since 2005 it has been part of the UCI Europe Tour and in the UCI category 2.2 .
