Sergei Alexandrowitsch Kolesnikow ( Russian Сергей Александрович Колесников; born March 10, 1986 ) is a former Russian cyclist .

Kolesnikow was initially particularly successful on the track and won the team pursuit title with the Russian team in particular at the U23 European Championships in 2005 .

Kolesnikow initially drove on the road for the Russian Continental Team Omnibike Dynamo Moscow . His most successful season was won nine international race in 2006 when he, among the total votes of the stage race Grand Prix of Sochi , Circuit des Ardennes and Tour of Hainan and the Tour du Finistère , a one-day race of the first category . In the same year he finished eighth in the U23 road race of the world championships. He then moved to the Professional Continental Team Unibet.com , but was unable to achieve any particular success apart from the silver medal at the Russian road championships.
