Grand Prix Sochi

The Sochi Grand Prix is a Russian road bike race .

The stage race has been taking place around the city of Sochi since 2005 . Since its inception, the race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in Category 2.2 . It was originally planned that the race should be part of the UCI ProTour from 2009 . The forerunner of the race was the Sochi Tour, which was held regularly in April as a race of the Soviet amateurs in preparation for the International Peace Tour until the end of the 1980s.

With Dirk Müller and Björn Schröder , two German racing cyclists won the tour.
