Romain Gijssels (born March 10, 1907 in Denderwindeke , † March 31, 1978 in Paris ) was a Belgian racing cyclist.

He was a professional from 1930 to 1936. In 1931 he won the Tour of Flanders . His most successful year, however, was to be 1932, when he first won the classic Paris – Roubaix and then again the Tour of Flanders. This was followed by victory in the Bordeaux – Paris race .

In 1934 he won the Paris-Belfort race and then took part in the Tour de France , where he finished 2nd on the 19th stage.
