Paul Maye (born August 19, 1913 in Bayonne , † April 19, 1987 in Biarritz ) was a French cyclist .

Paul Maye was one of the most successful French cyclists of his generation. In 1934 he became French amateur road champion, and the following year French military champion. In 1936 he joined the professionals.

Twice, in 1938 and 1943, Maye was French road champion. In 1945 he won Paris – Roubaix . He was the winner of Paris – Tours three times (1941, 1942 and 1945); a record he shares with Gustave Danneels , Guido Reybrouck and Erik Zabel . He took part in the Tour de France six times between 1936 and 1948 . In the Tour de France in 1936 he won two stages, the other times he did not arrive in Paris.
