Raymond Louviot

Raymond Louviot (born December 17, 1908 in Granges , † May 14, 1969 in Dunkirk ) was a French cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

From 1931 to 1949 he drove as a professional driver and in 1934 he became French master on the road. He started three times in the Tour de France , his best result he had in 1934 with 12th place in the overall standings. In 1934 and 1939 he won one stage each. In 1933 he won the most important individual time trial of his time with the Grand Prix des Nationes . He also won the Circuit du Midi race in 1933 .

Professional

After his racing career, Raymond Louviot was the sporting director of cycling teams .

Familiar

He is the grandfather of Philippe Louviot , a former cyclist from 1985 to 1995.
