The 108th Tour of Lombardy in 2014 was an Italian one-day road bike race in Lombardy . It took place on October 5 , 2014 and went over a distance of 260 km. It was the penultimate race of the 2014 UCI WorldTour . In contrast to the previous events, the race started in Como and ended in Bergamo . Daniel Martin won the race ahead of Alejandro Valverde and Rui Costa .
