Karl Wilhelm Greding
Karl Wilhelm Greding (born July 14, 1759 in Greiz ; † October 3, 1819 in Kemnath , Upper Palatinate ) was a German doctor .
Greding was a nephew of the physician Johann Ernst Greding , whose collected works he published posthumously. He himself also devoted himself to medicine. After completing his studies, he settled as a general practitioner first in Asch in Bohemia , then in Neustadt and from 1804 in Kemnat in Upper Palatinate. In 1819, at the age of 60, he died of a fall from a horse.
He wrote the following works:
- Dissertatio de primis variolarum initiis earumque contagione admodum virulenta , Leipzig 1781
- Tres morborum historiae in nosocomio Pragensi fratrum misericordiae conscriptae, cum epicrisi , Prague 1788
- Observations on the natural foliage , Hof 1796
