Didier Rous (born September 18, 1970 in Montauban ) is a former French cyclist .
Rous had been a professional cyclist since 1992 and one of the captains of the Bouygues Télécom team . He took part in the Tour de France a total of 13 times , most recently in 2006 . His best placement in 2001 was eleventh place. His greatest success was the stage victory on the 18th stage of the Tour de France 1997 from Colmar to Montbéliard .
Rous was involved in the doping scandal surrounding his Festina team at the 1998 Tour de France and was therefore banned for five months.
