Florent Brard (born February 7, 1976 in Chambray-lès-Tours ) is a former French cyclist .

Florent Brard began his professional career in 1999 with the French cycling team Festina . In his third and final year there, he was very successful: First, in February, he won a stage of the Étoile de Bessèges . Later he won the two one-day races GP Cholet and Paris-Bourges , which belong to the Coupe de France, and finished second in the overall standings behind the outstanding Laurent Brochard . In the summer he became the French time trial champion and then started the Tour de France .

After a year at Crédit Agricole , he moved to Marlux in 2003 . In 2004 he was able to secure a stage victory at Paris-Corrèze . After a year with the Professional Continental Team Agritubel , in 2006 he switched to the Spanish UCI ProTeam Caisse d'Epargne and became French road champion.

In 2008 he moved to the French team Cofidis . At the end of the 2009 season he ended his active career.
