Paris – Bourges

Paris – Bourges is a French cycling race .

The one-day race , which usually has its date at the beginning of October and is no longer started in the French city of Bourges , but in Gien in the Loiret department , was held for the first time in 1913. In 1980 and 1981 the race took place as a short stage race over two sections. Since the introduction of the UCI Europe Tour in the 2005 season, the race has been part of this racing series and classified in category 1.1. Paris – Bourges is also part of the Coupe de France , a series of French one-day races. Record winners are Marcel Dussault , Daniele Nardello , John Degenkolb and Sam Bennett , who each won the race twice.
