Lars Michaelsen

Lars Michaelsen (born March 13, 1969 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish cyclist .

Michaelsen was signed to Catavana-AS Corbeil-Essonnes-Cedico in 1994 and drove there for a year. He then drove two years for Festina-Lotus , TVM-Farm Frites , La Française des Jeux and for Team Coast . He has been under contract with CSC since 2003 . Michaelsen is an excellent cobblestone driver and a good sprinter. In addition to his fifth place at Paris-Roubaix in 2005, he won the spring classics Gent-Wevelgem , GP Rik van Steenbergen and Paris-Bourges .
