Patrice Esnault (* 12. June 1961 in Orléans , Region Center-Val de Loire ) is a former French cyclist .

Esnault became a neoprofi in 1985 and won his first race as a professional driver with the Troféu Joaquim Agostinho . He won the overall rankings of stage races three times : 1986 the Prix ​​de l'Amitié , 1987 the GP Midi Libre and 1988 Paris-Bourges . In 1999 he won a stage of the Vuelta a España . Esnault won his last road race in 1992 with the one-day race Paris-Camembert . After the 1994 season he ended his career as an active player.

After his active time, Esnault worked, among other things, as a manager of cycling teams , including 1999 and 2000 as head of the professional team Bessons Chaussures . He is also a representative for the French telecommunications company Orange at the Tour de France.
