Hirschling is a village in the market town of Regenstauf in the Regensburg district in Bavaria . Hirschling was the seat of the municipality of the same name until 1978 .

history

In 972 the place appears for the first time under the name Erigisinga . The builders of the Hirschling Castle in the 12th century were the Lords of Heresing (Hirschling). The noble Hofmark was last owned by the Barons von Pfetten. The municipality of Hirschling came into being with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818. On January 1, 1978, Hirschling was incorporated into Regenstauf .
