Stéphane Heulot (born September 20, 1971 in Rennes , France ) is a French cycling manager and former cyclist .

Athletic career

Stéphane Heulot was active as a professional cyclist from 1991 to 2002. In his first year as a professional, he won the Tour de Romandie . The following year he decided a stage from Paris – Nice and from Étoile de Bessèges for himself.

In 1996, Heulot started the Tour de France for the first time and wore the Maillot Jaune of the overall leader for three days without winning a stage; besides, he could not finish the tour. Also in 1996 he was French road champion . In 2002 he ended his active cycling career.

Professional

At the end of 2008, Heulot founded the Besson Chaussures-Sojasun team and managed it until 2013. In 2019, he became the European manager of the UHC Cycling Rally team .
