The one-day race Paris – Roubaix 1945 was the 43rd edition of the cycling classic and took place on Sunday, April 9, 1945.

The race led from Saint-Denis , north of Paris , to Roubaix , where it ended in the Vélodrome André-Pétrieux . The route was 246 kilometers long. 100 drivers started, 28 of whom were able to place. The winner Paul Maye completed the race with an average speed of 31.20 km / h .

This event was the first in Paris-Roubaix after France was liberated from German occupation. A group of seven riders reached the cycling track together , and last year's winner Desimpelaere was the favorite. He had done most of the leading work during the entire race. To everyone's surprise, however, the Basque Paul Maye won .
