The one-day race Paris – Roubaix 1932 was the 33rd edition of the cycling classic and took place on Sunday, March 27, 1932.

The race went from Argenteuil over 255 kilometers. 129 racing drivers started, 69 of whom were able to place. The winner Romain Gijssels completed the race with an average speed of 37.32 km / h .

Herbert Sieronski was alone in the front when four Belgian drivers caught up with him: Romain Gijssels, Jean Aerts , Alfons Schepers and Georges Ronsse . Together these five reached the Avenue des Villas in Roubaix and sprinted to the finish. Due to what was then a large gear ratio (47:17), Gijssels managed to overtake Ronsse. It took the commissioners five minutes to determine the correct order. Shortly before, Gijssels had won the Tour of Flanders and a few months later won Bordeaux – Paris .

Sieronski finished third - as the only non-Belgian in the top ten - and was the second German on the podium after the winner of 1896 , Josef Fischer . Other Germans included Hermann Buse (21st), Kurt Stöpel (28th), Ludwig Geyer (39th) and Willy Kutschbach (40th). With Walter Blattmann (34.) a Swiss placed.
