The one-day race Paris – Roubaix 1993 was the 91st staging of the cycling classic and took place on Sunday, April 11, 1993.

The race led from Compiègne , around 80 kilometers from Paris , to Roubaix , where it ended in the Vélodrome André-Pétrieux . The entire route was 267.5 kilometers long. 137 drivers started, 69 of whom were able to place. The winner Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle completed the race at an average speed of 41.650  km / h .

After the Trouée d'Arenberg , a leading group of 20 riders formed. After several drivers made unsuccessful attempts to break away, Franco Ballerini managed to move forward, but pursued by Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle. The duo drove towards the cycling track at high speed . A real sprint followed on the track , which Duclos-Lassalle won with the blink of an eye.
