The one-day race Paris – Roubaix 1965 was the 63rd edition of the cycling classic and took place on Sunday, April 11th, 1965.

The race led from Saint-Denis , north of Paris , to Roubaix , where it ended in the Vélodrome André-Pétrieux . The route was 265.5 kilometers long. The number of starters and drivers who have reached the finish is unknown. The winner, Rik Van Looy , completed the race at an average speed of 41.847 km / h .

Ten kilometers from the finish, Rik Van Looy attacked from a group of ten leading drivers and won. This made him the third driver alongside Octave Lapize and Gaston Rebry to win Paris – Roubaix three times.

Rudi Altig was twelfth, and Rolf Wolfshohl was 19th.
