Alfons Deloor

Alfons Deloor (born June 3, 1910 in Bois-d'Haine , † March 23, 1995 in Mechelen ) was a Belgian cyclist.

Alfons Deloor was a professional from 1929 to 1940. In 1932 he was second on the Tour of Flanders ; In 1934 he finished second in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya . In 1936 he stood together with his younger brother Gustaaf Deloor on the podium in the overall ranking of the Vuelta a España in second place behind his brother. In addition, he was able to win the 14th stage of this tour. A year earlier he had won the Tour of Belgium and was sixth in the overall ranking of the Vuelta a España . In 1938 he won the important one-day race Liège – Bastogne – Liège .
