Juan Miguel Mercado
Juan Miguel Mercado Martin (born July 8, 1978 in Granada ) is a Spanish cyclist .
Career
Mercado has been a professional cyclist since 1998. Until 2000 he drove for the Vitalicio-Seguros team , then switched to ibanesto.com , in 2004 to Quick Step , in 2006 and 2007 he drove for Agritubel .
His greatest successes were winning the 18th stage of the Tour de France 2004 , winning the Tour of Austria in 2005 and winning the 10th stage of the Tour de France 2006 . There are also other victories in Spanish tours, such as the Burgos Tour 2001, the Vuelta a Castilla y León 2002 and the Catalan Week 2002.
