Blankenberge , (Flemish) also Blankenberghe , is a municipality on the Belgian North Sea coast in the province of West Flanders .
geography
In addition to the marina in the former fishing port, a pier is one of the sights.
The train station near the beach has direct connections with Brussels . All Belgian coastal towns can be reached with the Kusttram .
The sand sculpture festival takes place every year from June to August on the beach in Blankenberge . The two-day hike (Internationale Tweedaagse van Vlaanderen Blankenberge) takes place every year on the first weekend in May .
Beaufort (art manifestation)
