Brian Raymond Vandenbussche (born September 24, 1981 in Blankenberge ) is a Belgian football goalkeeper .

Vandenbussche played in the youth of Club Bruges . He started his professional career in 2002 at Sparta Rotterdam , where he played until 2004. He has been under contract with sc Heerenveen ever since . In the 2009/10 season he suffered a knee injury that put him out of action from February 2010. In the pre-season season, his cruciate ligament tore in his left knee, incapacitating him for almost the entire 2010/11 season . The Frisians signed the Dane Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard as a substitute for the new season . On the last day of the season on May 15, 2011, Vandenbussche made his comeback for the Frisians after 15 months in the match at Roda JC Kerkrade , which ended in a goalless draw.

National coach René Vandereycken appointed him as a substitute goalkeeper in the Belgian national team . On May 20, 2006, he played his first international match against Slovakia when he came on for Stijn Stijnen in the 62nd minute .
