Margalita Tschachnaschwili-Ranzinger ( Georgian მარგალიტა ჩახნაშვილი ; born December 9, 1982 in Tbilisi ) is a former Georgian tennis player .

Career

Chachnashvili, who started tennis at the age of eight, preferred to play on clay courts. She played her first tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit in October 1997 , where she won a total of ten singles and five doubles titles.

She received a wild card from the ITF for the women's doubles at the 2012 London Olympics.

In 2015 she only played two tournaments, the last in September. She last competed in doubles in 2014. It has not been listed in the world rankings since 2016 .

From 1998 she played for the Georgian Fed Cup team ; She celebrated 30 victories in her 57 Fed Cup games.
