Maša Zec Peškirič (born January 21, 1987 in Jesenice ) is a former Slovenian tennis player .

Career

Zec Peškirič started playing tennis at the age of eight. She won 14 singles and ten doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit . She reached her best world ranking positions in 2009 with 93rd place in singles and 130th place in doubles. In the same year she also reached the main draw at Wimbledon and the US Open .

From 2006 to 2014 she played for the Slovenian Fed Cup team . She won six of her 19 matches in singles and two out of eleven in doubles.

Zec Peškirič played her last tournament on the women's tour in July 2014. Since 2015 she has not been listed in the world rankings.

Zec Peškirič played in 2008 and 2009 for the TC Großhesselohe , 2011 for the TC Rüppurr Karlsruhe , 2014 for the TC Grün-Weiss Luitpoldpark Munich , as well as in 2015 , 2017 and 2018 for the LTTC Rot-Weiß Berlin .
