Eva Hrdinová (born June 15, 1984 in Plzeň , then Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech tennis player .

Career

Hrdinová, who started tennis at the age of five, preferred hard courts.

She won three singles and 19 doubles titles at tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit . After her failure at the ITF tournament in Dubai in November 2012 in qualifying for the main draw in singles, she only competed in doubles.

In 2013, she was in the second round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in her career in the double competition at Wimbledon . In 2014 she was able to repeat this success there alongside Bojana Jovanovski from Serbia.

Since she left Jovanovski in August 2015 in round one of the US Open , Hrdinová has not competed on the women's tour.

Personal

At the end of 2010 Eva Hrdinová completed her sports studies at Charles University in Prague with a master's degree.
