Knez ( Cyrillic : Кнез; civil Nenad Knežević ; born December 5, 1967 in Cetinje , Yugoslavia , now Montenegro ) is a Montenegrin singer . He represented Montenegro at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna , Austria .

Life

Nenad Knežević attended school in Podgorica (then Titograd ) when he was the singer of the band Visoka frekvencija . With the guitarist of the group, Leo Đokaj, he composed the songs Da l 'si ikada mene voljela and Kao magija . After graduating in 1990, he joined the Milan i Luna singing group . Later he founded the Montenegro Band with his father Milija Knežević .

In 1992 Knežević began his solo career and took part in the Belgrade Pop Festival with the song Da l 'si ikada mene voljela . In 1992 he released his first album Kao magija , two years later the album Iz dana u dan and in 1996 he recorded his third album Automatic , which is the best-selling of all of his albums. In 2000 he won the Budva 2000 Festival with the song Vjeruj . In 2001, 2003 and 2005 Knez released two more albums.

With the title Adio he reached place 13 for Montenegro in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

His label is City Records . Knez lives in Belgrade.
