Stefan Filipović ( Cyrillic. Стефан Филиповић, * 18th January 1987 in Podgorica ) is a Montenegrin singer.

Career

At a young age he took part in the Naša Radost children's music festival in Podgorica several times , and later in other events, for example in Budva . There he reached fourth place in 2005, second in 2006 and first place in 2007. In addition, in 2006 he took part in the Serbian-Montenegrin preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest with the title Za nju and reached fourth place. In 2008 Filipović won the MontenegroSong 2008 and thus represented Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade . In the previous year he already took second place in the Montenegrin preselection.

His song was not chosen for the MontenegroSong , but was later selected by a jury of the Montenegrin Radio (RTCG). It was about Zauvijek volim te , written by Ognen Nedelkovski and Grigor Koprov . The two Macedonians wrote Karolina Gočeva's Macedonian contribution back in 2007 . In the international competition he reached 14th place in the first semifinals, so he could not qualify for the final.

Filipović studies at the Cetinje Music Academy .
