Jugić-Salkić, who, according to the WTA profile, gave preference to hard courts, only began playing tennis at the age of 13. She played mostly on ITF tournaments, in which she won a total of 15 singles and 43 doubles titles.
On the WTA Tour she was twice victorious in doubles, in 2004 at the tournament in Auckland and 2005 in Modena . In 2006 she celebrated her best result in a Grand Slam tournament when she made it to the second round in the women's doubles at Wimbledon.
For the Bosnian Fed Cup team , she played no fewer than 35 singles and 16 doubles games from 1997 to 2011, of which she was able to make 25 and eight victorious.
Jugić-Salkić played her last professional match in September 2013 at an ITF tournament in Montenegro. It has not been listed in the world rankings since 2014.
