The ASB Classic 2004 was a WTA hard court tennis tournament for women in Auckland . It was part of the 2004 WTA Tour as a Tier IV category tournament . The tournament took place from January 2nd to 10th, 2004.
Four qualifying places for the singles and one qualification place for the doubles were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
