Tara Snyder (born May 26, 1977 in Wichita , Kansas ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

Snyder, who was a favorite of hard courts, began playing tennis at the age of five. In 1995 she won the junior singles title at the US Open. She won the final 6: 4, 4: 6 and 6: 2 against Annabel Ellwood . When she was 18 years old, she became a professional player. During her tennis career, she won one WTA tournament and five ITT tournaments in singles. There were three ITF titles in doubles. In 2006 she ended her career.
