Conchita Martínez Granados (born January 20, 1976 in Barcelona ) is a former Spanish tennis player .

Career

Martínez Granados, who preferred clay courts, started playing tennis at the age of ten. In May 1994 she played her first ITF tournament .

In her career she won twelve singles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit . In Grand Slam tournaments she made it into the second round four times; in doubles she was once in the second round, in 2003 at the Australian Open .

She played her last match on the professional tour in July 2007 at the WTA clay court tournament in Palermo .
