In the individual, Justine Henin-Hardenne won against Amélie Mauresmo 6: 4 and 6: 4. In doubles, the pairing Cara Black / Rennae Stubbs won 7: 5, 3: 6 and 6: 4 against Dinara Safina / Meghann Shaughnessy .
