In the singles Amy Frazier won against Shinobu Asagoe 6: 3 and 6: 3. In doubles, the pairing Shinobu Asagoe / Seiko Okamoto won 2: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 3 against Els Callens / Barbara Schett .
