The Moorilla Hobart International 2010 was the 17th edition of the tennis hard court tournament in Hobart . It was part of the WTA Tour 2010 as a tournament in the International category . The tournament took place at the same time as Medibank International Sydney in Sydney from January 8th to 16th, 2010.

The defending champion in singles was Petra Kvitová and in doubles Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta .

In the singles Aljona Bondarenko won against Shahar Peer 6: 2, 6: 4 and in the doubles Chuang Chia-jung / Květa Peschke against Chan Yung-jan / Monica Niculescu with 3: 6, 6: 3, [10: 7].
