The Hobart International 2018 was a women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour in 2018 . The International Hard Court Tournament took place in Hobart from January 7-13, 2018 , at the same time as the Sydney International in Sydney .

The defending champions were Elise Mertens in singles and the pairing Raluca Olaru / Olha Sawtschuk in doubles.
