The WTA Championships 2018 (also known as BNP Paribas WTA Finals - Singapore 2018 ) were the tennis tournament with the highest value in points and prize money in the women's tournament calendar after the four Grand Slam tournaments . The hard court tournament of the WTA Tour 2018 took place from October 21-28, 2018 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium .

The defending champions in Singapore were Caroline Wozniacki in singles and Tímea Babos and Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková in doubles. In the singles Elina Switolina won , in the doubles the French-Hungarian pairing Kristina Mladenovic and Tímea Babos was successful.
