In the individual, Steffi Graf won against Anke Huber 6: 1, 2: 6, 6: 1, 4: 6 and 6: 3. In doubles, the pairing Jana Novotná / Arantxa Sánchez Vicario won 6: 2 and 6: 1 against Gigi Fernández / Natallja Swerawa .
