The WTA Championships 2017 (also known as BNP Paribas WTA Finals - Singapore 2017 ) were the tennis tournament with the highest endowment in the women's tournament calendar in terms of points and prize money, after the four Grand Slam tournaments . The hard court tournament of the WTA Tour 2017 took place from October 22nd to 29th 2017 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium .

The defending champions in Singapore were Dominika Cibulková in singles and Jelena Wesnina and Jekaterina Makarowa in doubles. In the singles the Dane Caroline Wozniacki won , in the doubles the Hungarian - Czech pairing Tímea Babos / Andrea Hlaváčková was successful.
