Iva Majoli (born August 12, 1977 in Zagreb ) is a former Croatian tennis player .

Career

The highlight of her tennis career was winning the 1997 French Open title . She achieved further tournament victories at the Porsche Cup in Stuttgart and the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo. For the Croatian Fed Cup team , she played 40 games between 1993 and 2004, of which she won 21.

She also won the Hopman Cup with Goran Ivanišević in 1996 . At the Olympic Games she reached the quarter-finals in the same year, in which she was eliminated against the later Olympic champion Lindsay Davenport .

Majoli played her last professional games in April 2004 at the tournament in Cagnes-sur-Mer . For the Kremlin Cup 2015 she got a wildcard in the doubles competition at the side of Anastassija Buchanko , but lost in the first round.
