Anastassija Wladimirowna Buchanko ( Russian Анастасия Владимировна Буханко , English transcription: Anastasia Vladimirovna Bukhanko ; born June 6, 1990 in Moscow ) is a former Russian tennis player .

Career

Buchanko started playing tennis at the age of six ; according to the ITF profile , she prefers the hard court . She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit where she has not yet won a title.

Buchanko received a wildcard for the double peloton at the 2013 Kremlin Cup . She failed there with her partner Margarita Gasparjan in the first round. In 2014 she received a wildcard for the first round in the main draw of the President's Cup in Astana , where she did not get beyond the opening round. At the Kremlin Cup 2014 she received a wildcard for qualification , but lost there in the first round against Yekaterina Bychkowa . At the Kremlin Cup 2015 she started again thanks to a wildcard, in doubles with Iva Majoli , who after eleven years competed in a tournament on the WTA Tour.

She played her last international tournament so far in February 2017, so she is no longer in the world rankings.
