The Toray Pan Pacific Open 2018 was a women's tennis tournament in Tachikawa near Japan's capital Tokyo . The Premier category hard court tournament was part of the WTA Tour 2018 and took place from September 17 to 23, 2018, parallel to the Guangzhou International Women's Open in Guangzhou and the Korea Open in Seoul .

This year, the tournament did not take place in the Ariake Tennis Forest Park as usual , where renovation work for the 2020 Olympic tennis competition was carried out until July 2019 , but in the Tachikawa Tachihi arena in Tachikawa .

qualification

Qualification for the Toray Pan Pacific Open 2018 took place September 15-16, 2018. Six places were played out for the main draw in singles.
