The defending champion in singles was Martina Hingis and in doubles the pairing consisting of Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur .

In the singles Dinara Safina won against Svetlana Kuznetsova 6: 1, 6: 3 and in the doubles Vania King / Nadja Petrowa against Lisa Raymond / Samantha Stosur 6: 1, 6: 4.
