The Mondial Australian Women's Hardcourts 2008 was the 12th edition of the women's tennis tournament in Gold Coast . The Tier III hard court tournament was part of the WTA Tour 2008 and took place from December 30, 2007 to January 5, 2008.

Li Na won the singles final against Wiktoryja Asaranka 4: 6, 6: 3 and 6: 4. In the double final Dinara Safina and Ágnes Szávay defeated the pairing Yan Zi / Zheng Jie 6: 1 and 6: 2.
