The Ariake Tennis Park ( Japanese 有 明 テ ニ ス の 森 公園 , Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen ) is a tennis center in the Kōtō district of the Japanese prefecture of Tokyo . It is located in the Ariake district of the same name in the south of Tokyo on Tokyo Bay . The "Shinonome Golf Course" ( 東 雲 ゴ ル フ 場 ) used to be on the grounds of the tennis center . It is the venue for the Toray Pan Pacific Open tennis competition , a WTA Tour tournament for women and the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships , a tournament of the ATP World Tour for men .

The 163,069 m² facility, which opened on May 14, 1983, comprised 48 tennis courts before the renovation in 2018, 16 of them with artificial turf and 32 hard courts, a running course and hiking trails. The main square, the Ariake Coliseum ( 有 明 コ ロ シ ア ム ), has a capacity of 10,000 people.

The tennis competitions of the Summer Olympics 2020 are to be held on this facility. For this purpose, the site was extensively rebuilt, including several indoor courts and a smaller tennis stadium with 5000 seats.
