The Tsurigasaki Surfing Beach is a beach for surfing in Ichinomiya , Japan .
The beach is located in the Kujukuri-Sotobo district of Chiba Prefecture , where there are very dynamic waves that are suitable for surfing according to different views. The coastal area that it includes at this point is called Kujukuri Beach and is about 60 kilometers long.
The traditional festival of Kazusa Junisha Matsuri takes place at Tsurigaski Surfing Beach every September .
During the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo , surf competitions will be held here for the first time in history.
