Shiokaze Park

The Shiokaze Park ( Japanese 潮 風 公園 , Shiokaze kōen ) is a park in the Shinagawa district of the Japanese capital Tokyo .

The park is the largest on Odaiba Island and is located directly on the northern part of Tokyo Bay across from Rainbow Bridge . The park has around 13,000 trees and countless plants. There is also a barbecue area and a kiosk in the park.

The park is divided into two parts by the Bayshore Route. The northern part has many trees and a large meadow. A promenade leads from the entrance on the east side to the bank on the west side. There is a large sundial at the end of the promenade. The southern part also has a promenade from the street side towards the bay, along which there are some Washington palms and Japanese cherry trees. In the southeast of the park is the Museum of Oceanography.

As part of the 2020 Summer Olympics , beach volleyball tournaments are to take place in the park .
